the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Ratifying the Convention on Eliminating the Employment and Occupation Discrimination in 1958 August 28, 2005 The 17th session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress decides to ratify the Convention on Eliminating the Employment and Occupation Discrimination in 1958, which was adopted at the 42nd conference of the International Labor Organization on June 25, 1958, and simultaneously declares that before the Government of the People's Republic of China gives a separate notice, the Convention on Eliminating the Employment and Occupation Discrimination in 1958 doesn't apply to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China for the time being. |
