Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Order of the President of the People's Republic of China No. 25 The Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress about Amending the Fishery Law of the People's Republic of China was adopted at the 11th session of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on August 28th, 2004. It is hereby promulgated and shall be implemented as of the date of promulgation. Hu Jingtao, President of the People's Republic of China August 28th, 2004 The Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress about Amending the Fishery Law of the People's Republic of China The 11th session of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China decides to amend the Fishery Law of the People's Republic of China as follows: Article 16 (1) shall be amended as "The state encourages and supports the breeding, cultivation and popularization of good aquatics. No new aquatic may be popularized unless it has been examined and approved by the National Committee for Examination and Approval of Original Breeding and Good Breeding and has been announced by the fishery administrative department of the State Council." This Decision shall be implemented as of the date of promulgation. The Fishery Law of the People's Republic of China shall be re-promulgated after it has been amended in accordance with this Decision. |
