Decision of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress Regarding the Revision of the Regulations of Shanghai

| (Adopted at the 20th Session of the Standing Committee of the 11th Shanghai Municipal People' s Congress on July 13, 2000) The 20th session of the Standing Committee of the 11th Shanghai Municipal People' s Congress has, after considerations, decided to revise Clause 2, Article 18 of the Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on the Advancement of Science and Technology "R&D institutions that transfer or transform their own professional results may use part of the intangible assets of such results, up to a maximum of 30%, as rewards for those who complete or transform such results." as "R&D institutions that transfer or transform their own professional achievements may, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, use part of the intangible assets of such achievements as rewards for those who complete or transform such achievements." The present Decision shall become effective on August 15, 2000. And the Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on the Advancement of Science and Technology shall be revised in accordance with the present Decision. |
