Investigations and Remedies for Sexual Harassment [2008] KRNHRC 14 (1 January 2008)

Sexual harrassment refers to any unwelcome verbal or physical conduct of a sexual
nature made by employees or employers of public organizations to use their power or
status in business, employment, or any other relations to make others feel humiliated or
disgusted or give disadvantages to those who reject requests for sexual favors. Sexual
harassment can occur not only in the work environment but also in other various social
relations including the student-teacher relations and the military hierarchy, which are all
subject to the National Human Rights Commission Act.
