An Act further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code in its application to the Province of West Pakistan

Preamble.-- WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code (XLV of 1860) in the manner hereinafter appearing;

It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.-- (1) This Act may be called the Penal Code (West Pakistan Amendment) Act, 1964.

2. Amendment of sections 500, 501 and 502 Act XLV of 1860.-- In the Pakistan Penal Code (XLV of 1860), in sections 500, 501 and 502, for the word "simple", wherever occurring, the word "rigorous" shall be substituted.
