DECISION No. 22/2004/QD-BNN of July 30, 2004 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational apparatus of Region-II Plant Quarantine Sub-Department Region-II Plant Quarantine Sub-Department is an unit under the Plant Protection Department, functioning to perform the State management over plant quarantine, having the legal person status, its own seal, operation funding and bank accounts. The Sub-Department is headquartered at 28 Mac Dinh Chi street, District I, Ho Chi Minh city, and operates in Ho Chi Minh city and the provinces of Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
