CIRCULAR No.85/1997/TT-BTC of November 22, 1997 guiding the implementation of Directive No.254-TTg of May 16, 1994 of the Prime Minister on support and conditions given by local authorities to raise the efficiency of activities of the Vietnam Red Cross Society. The Vietnam Red Cross Society is a mass organization operating under its statute already ratified by the Government. The Society's financial sources include: Its membership fees; revenues from its production and service activities; voluntary contributions by individuals and organizations inside and outside the country and humanitarian funds; relief, humanitarian aid and supports for projects and development programs, donated by individuals and international organizations through the Society; support from the State budget. The Circular also provides guidance on the use of financial sources of the Society.- (Summary)
