DECISION No.132/1997/QD-BT of November 20, 1997 of the Minister-Chairman of the Vietnam Committee for Child Protection and Care, issuing the Regulation on Organization and Operation of the Child Protection, Care and Education Inspectorate.

The Inspectorate of the Vietnam Committee for Child Protection and Care is an organization within the apparatus of the said Committee and belongs to the system of the State Inspectorate.

The Inspectorate of the Vietnam Committee for Child Protection and Care shall have to advise and assist the Minister-Chairman of the Committee in performing the function of inspecting and supervising the observance of the Law on Child Protection, Care and Education and the policies and legislation towards children; exerting the right to inspect and settle complaints and denunciations related to child matters managed by the Committee; managing the inspection, supervision and settlement of complaints and denunciations by units attached to the Committee.

This Regulation contains specific provisions on the tasks, powers, organizational structure and working relations of the Inspectorate of the Vietnam Committee for Child Protection and Care.- (Summary)
