DIRECTIVE No.15/1999/CT-TTg of May 26, 1999 on perfecting organization and operation of State corporations

To perform the task of consolidating and raising the business efficiency, raising the State corporations’ competitiveness, accumulating and concentrating capital, effecting the intensive specialization and extensive cooperation, thus creating foundation for the substantial transformation of State corporations into powerful economic groups; to quicken the elimination of the regime of sponsoring ministries and administration levels as well as the distinction between the central and local enterprises, fulfilling the function of leading small and medium enterprises, as well as the leading role in the cause of national industrialization and modernization, the Prime Minister directs the ministries, branches and levels to urgently proceed with the following:

- To finalize the strategy for production and business development of State corporations in the period of up to 2010, and even to 2020

- To perfect the organization of State corporations

- To perfect the operation mechanism of State corporations.- (Summary)
