As from January 1, 2005, the new statistical reporting regime promulgated together with the State Bank Governor's Decision No. 477/2004/QD-NHNN of April 28, 2004 shall apply and supersede the current one promulgated on December 18, 2000. In order to facilitate the effective application of the new regime and serve the comprehensive reform in statistical work of the banking service, the State Bank Governor issued this Directive, requesting the units under the State Bank and credit institutions to urge the reporting units to strictly observe the statistical reporting regimes (in terms of time and accuracy of reporting data), solve problems and difficulties arising in the course of making statistical reports, ensure technical and professional conditions for proposing measures to handle the systematic violations of the statistical reporting regime, apply effective measures to ensure the accuracy, adequacy and promptness of their reporting data, etc.- (Summary)
