In furtherance of the Prime Minister's Directive No. 11/2004/CT-TTg of March 30, 2004 on stepping up the reorganization and renovation of State enterprises in the spirit of the Resolutions of the 3rd plenum and 9th plenum of the Party Central Committee (the IXth Congress) and organization of implementation of the State Enterprises Law, the Industry Minister issued this Directive, requesting Corporations 90 and 91 and enterprises under the Ministry to perform the following tasks:

- To continue organizing the thorough study and grasp of Resolutions of the 3rd and 9th plenums and the action program of the Party Caucus Committee of the Industry Ministry about the necessity and forms of reorganization and renovation of State enterprises under the Party's policies.

- To disseminate the contents of the State Enterprises Law and guiding documents to managerial and professional officials and laborers in State enterprises.

- To review works done and mistakes and shortcomings in valuation of to be-equitized enterprises, implementation of equitization plans, sale of equities and organization of first shareholders' congress, etc., to draw up specific roadmaps and appropriate solutions to ensure scheduled reorganization and renovation of State enterprises

- Corporations study the possibility of their own plans on complete equitization for submission by the Minister to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.- (Summary)
