DECISION No.1253/QD-TTg of December 29, 1999 on setting up the working group for the implementation of the Law on Enterprises

To set up the working group for the implementation of the Law on Enterprises, which shall be personally directed by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, to assist the Prime Minister in directing the work of implementing the said Law.

The working group is tasked to:

1. Revise, evaluate and classify legal documents and licenses and permits of various kinds related to the implementation of the Law on Enterprises, then report to the Prime Minister legal documents, which are contrary to the Law on Enterprises and must be annulled, documents which are inconsistent with the Law on Enterprises and must be amended and/or supplemented, unnecessary licenses and permits which must be canceled, etc.

2. Study and propose to the Prime Minister determination criteria for and lists of branches and trades subject to conditional business, and those for which practice certificates are required, and the organization of State management over such business branches and trades.

3. Monitor the course of implementing the Law on Enterprises and problems arising therefrom, so as to propose the Prime Minister to solve them.

The working group shall be composed of Mr. Tran Xuan Gia, Minister of Planning and Investment, as its head, and Mr. Uong Chu Luu, Vice Minister of Justice, and Mr. Pham Viet Muon, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Enterprise Management Reform, as its members.- (Summary)
