Decision No.280-TTg of April 29, 1997 on the establishment of wide-ranging information network for information transmission and receipt within the State administrative agencies.

To establish wide-ranging information network on the basis of hooking up the central networks of the ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies attached to the Government and the People’s Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government with the Government’s central network to efficiently serve the managerial activities of the Government and the local administration.-
