RESOLUTION

On the Government’s May 2007 regular meeting

On June 6, 2007, the Government held its May regular meeting where:

- It heard the Transport Minister’s national scheme on enhancing the assurance of traffic order and safety up to 2010 and the Government’s draft resolution on urgent solutions to control traffic accidents and congestion; the Finance Minister presenting the bill on management and use of state property; the Planning and Investment Minister’s report on the production, business, service and investment situation in May and the socio-economic situation in the first 5 months of the year, and a report on procedures for market accession and implementation of the “one-stop shop” mechanism; the Trade Minister’s report on the trade situation in May; the Agriculture and Rural Development Minister’s report on avian influenza; the Government Inspector General’s report on the anti-corruption work in May; and the Home Affairs Minister’s report on the administrative reform in May;

- It approved contents of a draft decree detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, presented by the Health Minister; discussed a draft decree guiding the implementation of the pension regime for cadres and civil servants and the prolongation of working duration of cadres and civil servants, presented by the Home Affairs Minister.- (Summary)
