RESOLUTION No. 12/1998/NQ-CP of September 25, 1998 on the Government's September 1998 regular meeting

On September 21 and 22, 1998, the Government held its September 1998 regular meeting to discuss and resolve the following:

- It adopted the substantial content of the report on the plan for the 1999 socio-economic stabilization and development presented by the Minister of Planning and Investment; the report on the implementation of the 1998 State budget and the 1999 State budget draft presented by the Minister of Finance.

- It heard the Minister-Director of the Government Office reporting on the result of the gathering of comments by the cabinet members on the following five draft ordinances: the Ordinance on Library, the Ordinance on Goods Quality (amended), the Ordinance on the Protection of Customers, the Ordinance on Measurement and the Ordinance on Commune Police. The Government assigned the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment, the Minister of Culture and Information and the Minister of Public Security to coordinate with the Ministry of Justice and the Government Office in gathering comments by the cabinet members, in order to finalize the above-said draft ordinances, then report them to the Prime Minister before submitting them to the National Assembly Standing Committee.

- It examined the report reviewing the implementation of the Government Working Regulation in the third quarter as well as the first nine months of 1998.- (Summary)
