RESOLUTION On the Government’s September 2007 regular meeting On October 5 and 6, the Government held its September regular meeting where it heard the Minister of Transport reporting on the Can Tho bridge incident, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development reporting on prevention, combat and overcoming of consequences of typhoon Lekima, and the Minister-Director of the Government Office reporting on the scheme on computerization of state administration during 2001-2005 (scheme 112). The Government discussed a draft program of action of the Government for the implementation of Resolution of the fifth plenum of the Xth Party Central Committee on accelerating administrative reform and raising management efficiency and effectiveness of state apparatus, presented by the Minister of Home Affairs, Bill on Promulgation of Legal Documents, presented by the Minister of Justice, Bill on Public Investment, presented by the Minister of Planning and Investment, a draft ordinance on defense industry and draft amendments to the Ordinance on Vietnam’s Coast Guard, presented by the Minister of Defense. The Government also considered and adopted reports on production, business, service and investment activities in the first nine months
and September 2007, on the domestic market in September; on corruption prevention and combat in September and the third quarter of
