DIRECTIVE No.8/1998/CT-TTg of February 18, 1998 on the review of five years' implementation of the Land Law. In order to have grounds for the amendments and supplements to the 1993 Land Law and make it suitable to the national socio-economic development, the Prime Minister urges the presidents of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government, the ministers, the heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the heads of the agencies attached to the Government to review five years' implementation of the Land Law in their respective localities and branches; point out loopholes in current land policies and legislation and suggest specific contents of the 1993 Land Law that need to be amended and supplemented.- (Summary) |
