DECREE No. 58/1999/ND-CP of July 23, 1999 on the readjustment of the administrative boundaries, the re-establishment of Dau Tieng, Phu Giao and Di An districts and the establishment of communes in Dau Tieng and Di An districts, Binh Duong province To re-establish Dau Tieng district on the basis of a land area of 72,010 ha and a population of 82,787 of Ben Cat district. To re-establish Phu Giao district on the basis of a land area of 53,861 and a population of 58,207 of Tan Uyen district. To re-establish Di An district on the basis of a land area of 5,735 ha and a population of 90,455 of Thuan An district. To annex a land area of 1,800 ha together with a population of 1,007 of Dau Tieng township to Dinh Hiep commune, Dau Tieng district. To establish Dinh An commune of Dau Tieng district on the basis of a land area of 11,570 ha and a population of 5,377 of Dinh Hiep commune. To annex a land area of 101 ha together with a population of 2,780 of Tan Dong Hiep commune to Di An township, Di An district. To establish An Binh commune of Di An district on the basis of a land area of 319 ha and a population of 5,350 of Di An township.- (Summary)
