DECISION No. 75/QD-TTg of January 16, 2001 on the setting up of the Construction Law Drafting Committee The Construction Law Drafting Committee shall be headed by the Construction Minister. Its members include representatives of the following ministries: Construction; Finance; Justice; Planning and Investment; Agriculture and Rural Development; Science, Technology and Environment; and Communication and Transport; and the General Land Administration. The Construction Law Drafting Committee is tasked to: - Organize and direct the study, survey and gathering of documents to further complete the Construction Bill’s content; - Set up and directly direct the Construction Bill editorial team, which shall be composed of experts from ministries and bodies with their representatives participating in the Construction Law Drafting Committee; - Organize the gathering of comments of the ministries, branches and concerned bodies on the Construction Bill’s content; - Report to the Prime Minister on difficulties and/or problems which may arise in the course of drafting the Bill and are beyond the competence of the concerned ministries and branches; - Schedule the progress of and estimate the fund for the further improvement of the Bill. It shall propose the Government to examine and ratify the Construction Bill for subsequent submission thereof to the National Assembly within the time limit already scheduled in the National Assembly’s legislative program.- (Summary)
