DECISION No. 07/2004/QD-BKHCN of April 29, 2004 promulgating the Regulation on organization and operation of the Legal Department Promulgated together with this Decision was the Regulation on organization and operation of the Legal Department, which is an unit attached to the Ministry of Science and Technology, assisting the Minister in performing the function of State management by means of law over the science and technology domain; and organizing the law-making work, evaluation, revision and systematization of legal documents and dissemination of the legislation on science and technology. The Regulation prescribes the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure and working relationships of the Legal Department. This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 2206/1998/QD-BKHCNMT of November 16, 1998 of the Science, Technology and Environment Minister (now the Science and Technology Minister) promulgating the organization and operation charter of the Legal Department.- (Summary)
