DECISION No.136-TTg OF MARCH 6, 1996 OF THE PRIME MINISTER ratifying feasibility investment project on establishing the Tam Dao National Park on the basis of upgrading and broadening the Tam Dao National Forbidden Forest established under Decision No.41-TTg of January 24, 1977 of the Prime Minister;

Name of the project: the Tam Dao National Park;

The project’s managing agency: the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Investor: the National Park Managing Board, as decided by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Location: stretching over 80 km along Northwest-Southeast direction from Son Duong district (Tuyen Quang province) to Me Linh (Vinh Phu province) covering 19 communes of 4 districts: Tam Dao, Lap Thach (Vinh Phu province), Son Duong (Tuyen Quang province) and Dai Tu (Bac Thai province);

Total investment capital: 27,835 million VND, including 23,435 million VND from the State budget; 2,400 million VND of preferential loans; 2,000 million VND from self-acquired fund and joint venture fund;

Implementation period: 1996-2000.- (Summary)
