THE MINISTRY OF TRADE CIRCULAR No. 01/2000/TT-BTM OF JANUARY 17, 2000 SUPPLEMENTING THE TRADE MINISTRY’S CIRCULAR No. 26/1999/TT-BTM OF AUGUST 19, 1999 ON ORDERING GOODS PROCESSING ABROAD Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 57/1998/ND-CP of July 31st, 1998 detailing the implementation of the Commercial Law regarding the goods import, export, processing and the sale - purchase agency activities with foreign countries; the Trade Ministry’s Circular No. 18/1998/TT-BTM of August 28, 1998 and Circular No. 26/1999/TT-BTM of August 19, 1999 guiding the implementation of the above-said Decree; Considering the particular features of the export-processing enterprises which are established and operating under the Regulation on industrial parks, export-processing zones and high-tech parks, issued together with the Government’s Decree No. 36/CP of April 24, 1997, The Ministry of Trade hereby guides the supplements to the Trade Ministry’s Circular No. 26/1999/TT-BTM of August 19, 1999 on ordering goods processing abroad as follows: Vietnamese traders may place their goods processing orders to export-processing enterprises without being subject to the conditions on ordering goods processing abroad as specified in Item 6.b of the Trade Ministry’s Circular No. 26/1999/TT-BTM of August 19, 1999.
