DECREE No.71-CP OF OCTOBER 30, 1995 OF THE GOVERNMENT TO ESTABLISH THE TOWNSHIP OF XUYEN MOC DISTRICT, AND LOC AN COMMUNE OF LONG DAT DISTRICT, BARIA - VUNG TAU PROVINCE (Summary)

To establish Phuoc Buu township of Xuyen Moc district which encompasses a land area of 800 hectares with a population of 7,649 from Phuoc Buu commune in the same district. It borders Xuyen Moc commune on the East, Phuoc Thuan and Phuoc Tan communes on the West, Phuoc Thuan commune and the national forest on the South, Phuoc Tan and Xuyen Moc communes on the North.

Phuoc Buu commune (after readjustment of its boundary) is renamed Phuoc Thuan commune.

To establish Loc An commune of Long Dat district, which encompasses a land area of 461.7 hectares with a population of 1,461 from Phuoc Hai commune, another land area of 1,181.8 hectares inhabited by 512 people from Phuoc Long Hoi commune, and a land area of 176.7 hectares from Lang Dai commune. It borders Xuyen Moc district on the East, Phuoc Long Hoi commune on the West, the East Sea and Phuoc Hai commune on the South, and Lang Dai commune on the North.-
