To establish Ninh Binh Electricity Company, an independent-accounting member enterprise under Vietnam Electricity Corporation, which is organized and operates in form of one-member limited liability company, on the basis of reorganizing Ninh Binh Electricity, a dependent-accounting member unit of the Electricity Company of Region I.

Ninh Binh Power Company Ltd. has its own seal, may open bank accounts according to law provisions, and operates under its Charter and the Enterprise Law.

Its head-office: Km 2, National Highway No. 1A, Dong Thanh ward, Ninh Binh provincial capital, Ninh Binh province.

It has the following principal tasks:

1. To receive and efficiently use capital and assets assigned by Vietnam Electricity Corporation to perform the production and business development task.

2. To be engaged in the following major production and business lines:

- To produce and trade in electric power;

- To build and renovate distribution power grids of a voltage £ 100 kV;

- To repair and overhaul electric equipment of a voltage £ 100 kV;

- Provide consultancy on building distribution power grids of a voltage £ 100 kV: formulation of investment projects, design and bidding of power works (power transmission lines and transformer stations of a voltage £ 100 kV);

- To provide consultancy on and monitor the construction of electric works (power lines and transformer stations of a voltage £ 100 kV);

- To process and manufacture accessories, components and distribution equipment of a voltage £ 100 kV;

- To import, export and trade in supplies and distribution equipment of a voltage £ 100 kV;

- To deal in electricity telecommunications with permission of Vietnam Electricity Corporation in form of contracts on the lease of equipment and assets of the Corporation’s telecommunications network;

- To be engaged in other production and business activities under the business practicing permits.- (Summary)
