Main tasks and practical skills:

• A request to recognize or not recognize a civil judgment or decision of a foreign Court (Item 5 of Article 26, Item 6 of Article 28, Item 2 and Item 3 of Article 30, and Article 32) shall be resolved by a Panel of three Judges (Item 1 of Article 55 of the CPC).
• Resolution of parts relating to the Vietnamese Commercial Arbitration (Item 1 of Article 30 of the CPC), the composition to resolve the matter shall comply with the legal documents on Commercial Arbitration (Item 3 of Article 55 of the CPC) ;
• Except for the 2 above types of civil matters, other types shall be resolved by a Judge (Item 2 of Article 55 of the CPC).
