2.4. The Judge should summon participants in the proceedings


Upon the decision on bringing the case to trial, the Judge must request a functional division to deliver the summons to the participants in the proceedings, including the litigants and other necessary persons, and to the Procuracy if the Procuracy has lodged a protest or attended the trial of first instance.

    Main tasks and practical skills:

    • The list of participants in the proceedings and procedure for delivering the summons shall be conducted in the same way as at the Court of first instance.
    • The notification may be sent by post or served directly.
    • The notification shall be delivered to the Procuracy if the Procuracy has lodged a protest against the judgment of first instance or attended the trial of first instance.
