Main tasks and practical skills:
- Resolving a request to declare a person as without capacity to perform civil actions or having limited capacity to perform civil actions; or to revoke a decision declaring a person as without capacity to perform civil actions or having limited capacity to perform civil actions.
- Resolving a request to announce the search of a person that is absent from their residential place and the control of the property of that person.
- Resolving a request to declare a person missing; or to revoke a decision to declare a person missing.
- Resolving a request to declare a person dead, or to revoke a decision to declare a person dead.
- Resolving a request to recognize and enforce in Vietnam a civil judgment or decision of a foreign court or not to recognize a civil judgment or decision of a foreign court that is not required to be enforced in Vietnam.
- Resolving other requests stipulated by the law.
* Noting that «other requests» must be stipulated by a valid legal documents of Vietnam or in an international treaty that Vietnam has acceded to.
