Main tasks and practical skills:
- Resolving requests relating to Vietnamese commercial arbitration which shall have jurisdiction to resolve disputes in accordance with provisions on Commercial Arbitration (Article 340 of the CPC).
- Appointment or change of arbitrators;
- Introduction, change or removal of temporary emergency measures;
- Abolition of arbitral awards;
- Other civil matters that are provided by laws on Vietnamese commercial arbitration.
- Resolving a request to recognize and enforce in Vietnam a judgment [or] decision of a foreign court on an economic [or] commercial matter, or not to recognize a judgment [or] decision of a foreign court on an economic [or] commercial matter that is not required to be enforced in Vietnam.
- Resolving a request to recognize and enforce in Vietnam an award of a foreign arbitral tribunal on an economic [or] commercial matter.
- Resolving other economic disputes as stipulated by the law.
