Main tasks and practical skills:
- Petitioner or their representative «must attend the meeting». The consequences of their absence shall be the same as cases where the plaintiff is absent from the trial (Item 3 of Article 313 of the CPC).
- Related persons or their legal representatives may «be summoned to the meeting by the Court». The court may summon witness, interpreter or expert witness to attend the meeting. If any of them is absent, the court may, at its sole discretion, postpone the meeting or proceed with the meeting, as provided in Item 4. However, as provided in Article 20, a litigant involved in civil proceedings has the right to use his/her own ethnic language and in this case a court shall provide an interpreter.
