Main tasks and practical skills:
- There must be a secretary at the meeting who shall record the minutes of the meeting.
- The Judge shall consider and decide whether to approve or disapprove the request for resolution of the civil matters and this is considered as part of the minutes of the meeting. (Point h of Item 1 of Article 314). Therefore, the decision on resolution of the matter must be conducted at the meeting.
- The Court shall have the right to apply specific provisions on a trial to a meeting in the spirit of Article 311 and must be conducted in accordance with provisions of the CPC. For example: A decision must be made within a time limit not exceeding duration of deliberation as provided in Item 5 of Article 236 (5 working days); any amendment or supplement to the decision must be conducted in accordance with Article 240 of the CPC on amendment of and additition to a judgment.
